Upcoming workshops:

Feb TBA 1.30- 4.30pm. $60

max 10 people

Whether you want to take better holiday photos, better photos of your kids or just better selfies we will cover it all.

We will talk about composition and subject matter

You will learn the difference between the subtle and the strong, how to see it and how to use it. We will talk about what flatters, what hides.

-Backlighting and sun bursts.

-Open shade and why its your best friend.

-The pros and cons of shooting in bright sunlight.

This workshop will be based in a wonderful barn right next to Bethell's Beach, you will be very comfortable on cosy couches with tea, coffee and snacks.  All notes are provided, all you have to do is come and have fun.

We will go outside to put our skills to work in the wonderful environment of Bethells Beach. Each day throws its own twist on light so the some specific tricks we will practice on our walk outside will be whether dependant.  Our focus is on finding good light and learning how to make our subject matter look good in it.

Medium to advanced photographers are welcome but keep in mind that I won't have a lot of time to work one on one to show you how to control the buttons on your camera as imagine most people will be working completely in Auto Mode.

Along with many years of photography experience I also have a diploma in teaching to so you can be comfortable knowing that the class will be well run and informative. It will be a small group so that there is plenty of time for questions  and we can spend a lot of time really hands on, having a good play.  The venue is in a very special location at Bethells beach in gorgeous barn with comfy couches. Weather permitting we will head outside into the wonderful surrounds to try out your new skills.  Afternoon or morning tea is provided with delicious snacks and tea and coffee.

Maximum of 10 people.

This is a class ANYONE who wants to make their photos better. Please get in touch if you are not sure whether this workshop is right for you.

Cost is $60 and you will need something to take photos on.  Cameras of any sort or phones are all fine.
